A Late Winter Reset for Body & Mind

March Check-in on rebalancing for Spring, and my upcoming maternity schedule.

March 2026 Newsletter

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, this time between deep winter and the first signs of spring is a powerful moment for rebalancing harmony within. While the world outside looks frozen, your body is gently beginning to shift, preparing for the upward, expansive energy of Spring.

In this newsletter, I’ll explain what you may be feeling, and how acupuncture can help during this seasonal transition.

I will be going on Maternity leave beginning April 8th. Heidi Hughett, who many of you know from Acupuncture of New England, will be seeing my patients from Thursday thru Saturday, in my office at 191 S. Main St, Suite 102, Middleton. You will be able to book appointments directly online with Heidi, from the same portal as you are using now. Heidi is a very accomplished acupuncturist, I am confident you will be in good hands while I am on leave. If you have a pressing situation, please email me and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

As always, thank you for your loyalty and putting trust in me to help you on your healing journey. Follow me on Instagram BalancingHarmonyWithin for any updates. I look forward to seeing you!

With gratitude, Brittany Moore

  Why You May Be Feeling….

  • Slower or more tired than usual

  • Stiff, tight, or achy

  • Emotionally “stuck"

  • Craving motivation and drive

This is completely normal for the season. Winter is associate with the Kidney System in TCM- our core energy, resilience, and reserves. If we don’t nourish it in the Winter, then you may re-enter Spring feeling depleted instead of renewed.

How Acupuncture Helps This Seasonal Transition

Acupuncture supports you by:

  • Warming and moving circulation

  • Releasing physical and emotional stagnation

  • Boosting energy gently (without overstimulation)

  • Supporting immunity as seasons shift

  • Preparing the body for Spring’s growth and movement

Think of it as clearing the snow from your internal pathways so your energy can flow freely again.

A Simple Late Winter Harmony Ritual

Until your next treatment- Go to bed a little earlier, choose warm and nourishing foods, stretch gently each morning, take a few deep breaths, and set an intention for the season ahead. Maybe even take a moment to reflect on your New Year’s resolutions or the goals that you have for yourself.

Small steps now create big shifts for Spring.

If you’ve been feeling the heaviness of winter, this is the perfect time for a treatment focused on restoring balancing, increasing energy, and aligning body & mind for the new season.

Book your next session and step into Spring feeling clear, grounded, and renewed.

Maternity Leave

As mentioned above, my last day will be April 8th as my due date is April 14th. If I go into labor prior to this date, I will be contacting any scheduled patients as soon as possible to let them know I won’t be in the office. Heidi Hughett is an amazing acupuncturist and I’m so thankful for her being able to help cover my maternity leave and continue your treatments in my absence. Her schedule will be Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-4pm, and Saturday 8am-4pm. Please adhere to the 24 hour cancellation policy as she will have condensed hours and most likely need to fill spots with the cancellation list. Her online scheduling calendar will open up in the next week or so, but feel free to contact me as well to secure your appointment. She is going to start treatments in early April. You’ll be able to reach me via email and phone, but please note there might be slightly delayed response time. I will take care of questions regarding scheduling, billing, or business related issues. To contact Heidi directly regarding questions about your treatments, you can use her previous acupuncture email address: [email protected].

Thank You
